By Bus
A number of services run from the city centre along Great Western Road, these
include the 11 to Dalmuir, the 20 or the 59 to Drumchapel, the 66 to Mountblow
or the 118 to Duntocher. Ask the driver to let you off at the stop before
Gartnavel Hospital
By Train
You can catch a low level train from Glasgow Central or Queen Street to Hyndland.
From there it's a 5 minute walk up Novar Drive to Hyndland Road and from there
to Hughenden.
Most trains leaving the city centre on the low level service destined for Milngave,
Dumbarton, Balloch or Helensburgh will stop at Hyndland
By Car
Unless you're coming from the West in all instances follow these directions which
assume you can navigate to the M8 heading into Glasgow:
Take junction 17 (A82 Dumbarton) off the M8
Travel along the A82 (Great Western Road) for approximately 2 miles then turn
left into Hyndland Road
Take the second right onto Hughenden Road (just past the tennis club)
At the mini roundabout turn right and park outside the sports club.
Coming from the West these directions assume your starting point is on the M8
heading into Glasgow past the airport:
Leave the M8 at junction 25 (Clyde Tunnel) join the A739
Travel through the Clyde tunnel (Northbound)
Carry straight on past Jordanhill train station
At Anniesland Cross (junction with A82) turn left following signs for city centre
then turn right and right again onto A82 - Great Western Road
After just under 1 mile turn right into Hyndland Road
Take the second right onto Hughenden Road (just past the tennis club)
At the mini roundabout turn right and park outside the sports club.
