Location of Hughenden

Our home ground is Hughenden (post code G12 9XP).
Due to the on-going development work at the ground, access and parking arrangements have changed.

Pedestrians The former pedestrian access by the groundsman’s house is now part of the development site and consequently all access is now by foot down the adjacent surfaced private lane.

Parking There is no car parking in the grounds or on the private lane, where there are yellow lines. All car parking is on the street system outside the grounds, but this is restricted due to the continuing construction works associated with the development, particularly in Hughenden Lane. Spaces will be available in both Hughenden Road and further down Hughenden Lane or on the verge between the mini roundabout and Hyndland Road. On 1st XV match days, there may be congestion and visiting teams and match officials are asked to note that and plan accordingly.

Bus Parking will be severely restricted close to the grounds and visiting teams are asked to note that bus parking may be possible only between the mini roundabout and Hyndland Road, or on Hyndland Road itself or beyond.

A number of services run from the city centre along Great Western Road, these include the 11 to Dalmuir, the 20 or the 59 to Drumchapel, the 66 to Mountblow or the 118 to Duntocher. Ask the driver to let you off at the stop before Gartnavel Hospital

You can catch a low level train from Glasgow Central or Queen Street to Hyndland. From there it's a 5 minute walk up Novar Drive to Hyndland Road and from there to Hughenden.
Most trains leaving the city centre on the low level service destined for Milngave, Dumbarton, Balloch or Helensburgh will stop at Hyndland
