| Hippos v Dalziel 20th October Hippos 14 Dalziel 13 Hippos again took the field at Jordanhill School on Saturday. Under leaden skies but dry underfoot conditions a much changed personnel entertained the masses. Truth be said without Keith we lost our way a little only having 13 at the off, boosted to 14 after 15mins. Against 15 the task proved arduous, but Hippos contrived to play a reasonable game apart from some basic finishing and being held up over the line on 4 occasions. The poor conversion stats (nowt from 2) from Dalziel gifted the hippos a win. No stars all around but still unbeaten in the league. |
