| Hamilton Over 40's 10's Tournament 11th August The old boys travelled to Hamilton for their charity 10's over 40's tournament. On a day of torrential rain a feast of rugby was offered up somewhere, (not in Hamilton) with conditions tempering flowing rugby. However the Hippos provided their usual unique brand of the game. Grouped against Clydesdale and the Hamilton young guns, the Hippos contrived to top the table by beating both. We then dispatched Cartha in the semis and lost to Millbrae in a close final. Runners up medals all round. Not a bad way to spend a miserable Sat. No names as this was a team effort. |
