| Hippos v West 6th October The Hippos played West 3rd xv at Burnbrae last sat. West 3rd's are really an u18 development squad and naturally this proved to be a game of contrasting styles. First half was all West backs and fast running rugby, second half was tight Hippo mauling and drives. we lost, but the chat was good. More importantly Keith Fowler the Hippo skipper is getting spliced to Jackie next weekend and as a curtain raiser to the main event a Friday night game at the club featuring the Hippo v Hamilton XV's plus select guests will entertain the throng. Ko about 7pm. Please attend as a good laugh is expected. |
