| Hills Ladies 0 RHC 12 SAME SCORE DIFFERENT VENUE Hills entertained Royal High at Hughenden this Easter Sunday in a re-scheduled league game. Both teams struggled to field teams and a 14 a side event took place. Hills were without 8 first choices but stuck it to the Edinburgh squad. Little enterprising rugby from both sides led do a dour spectacle with Hills resolute in defence. However two lapses in tackling led to two tries, one in each half with one converted. Hills threatened occasionally but a fair result on the day. Our two Glasgow University reps (Emma and Steph)shone, further enhancing the reputation of Womens rugby in the West of Scotland. Next up Kirkaldy (league) at Hughenden (2pm) on Sat 29th before the Annual Dinner. |
