SOHK 6 HOUR TOUCH RUGBY CHALLENGE

On Sunday 30th July we will be taking part in the School of Hard Knocks 6 Hour Touch Rugby Challenge from 8am til 2pm.

The money raised will be split 50/50 with HJRFC and SOHK.

We want everyone and anyone to come down and help us achieve the goal of playing one continuous game of touch rugby for 6 whole hours, you can play for 10 minutes or 6 hours but the game will be going continuously.

It costs £5 to play (£3 for u18) and there will be other fundraising opportunities taking place throughout the day. Refreshments will be provided to keep you hydrated and a hotdog for your hard work!

10:00-11:00 will be a designated “Kids Hour” but everyone is welcome all day long, if you’re up for the challenge.

To register, please donate £5 at the link below and leave a message with the time you plan to join us for:

School of Hard Knocks exists to support individuals who are facing inequality. They enable meaningful change in participants’ lives through High Impact Sport, Mentoring and The Power of the Team.

SOHK’s mission is to empower individuals to fully realise their potential. Their vision is a society in which everyone has an equal opportunity to succeed.

“School of Hard Knocks is about the development of the whole person. By enabling self-worth through an environment of genuine acceptance, participants move from a mind-set characterised by threat, instability and confusion, to one that promotes and maintains optimism, emotional resilience and ultimately life satisfaction.  In essence the ‘School of Hard Knocks’ provides individuals the opportunity to find a meaning and purpose to life.”
Dr Mikel Mellick, Practitioner Psychologist & SOHK Trustee
